There's quite a bit to keep you occupied on your visit to Cape Cod.
Here are some of our local favorites.
Restaurants
abbici - an excellent bistro
specializing in contemporary Mediterranean cuisine fused with Cape Cod
ambience, this restaurant just around the corner punctuates that special
night out.
Ardeo - "the fire of the
Mediterranean," this wonderful taverna is located just a short drive from
our door and features an outstanding and eclectic menu.
Barnstable Restaurant and
Tavern - for the road weary, a true town tavern situated on the Old
King's Highway across from the Court House. Where the Barnstable
"in-crowd" meets for lunch!
Hallet's - the old meeting
house, court house, general store, apothecary and now a great place to grab
a sandwich or ice cream.
Inaho - some of the best Japanese cuisine on the Cape and it's right
across the street!
Mattakeese Wharf - casual
waterfront dining on Barnstable Harbor. Watch the boats come and go.
Old Yarmouth Inn - great
food at the oldest operational inn on Cape Cod, only a stone's throw away.
Pizzas by Evan
- if you're lusting for a pie, these are the best and they're close by.
Activities
Cape Cod Athletic Club
- for running, triathlon, or other athletic endeavours, these are the folks
to hook up with on your visit to the Cape. Check the Race Calendar
before your journey and bring your racing flats!
Cape Cod Baseball League -
the boys of summer play across the Cape. From Agapé, it's a short trip to
catch the Hyannis Mets or the
Y-D Red Sox.
Cape Cod Bird Club - fair
or fowl, these folks know the local bird haunts.
Cape Cod Museum of Natural History
- everything for the naturalist and those who just want to learn a bit more
about the nature of Cape Cod.
The Cape Playhouse -
classic theater on Cape Cod.
The Edward Gorey House
- situated just a short walk from our door, explore the dark, twisted and
humorous art and literature of Edward Gorey.

just the ticket on a hot summer afternoon.

this 110 acre Mass. Audubon sanctuary houses the Cape Cod Center for Bird
Conservation and a network of trails that will take you out to Barnstable
Harbor.
