Our historic Cape Cod house was built in 1843 by Captain James
Bacon Crocker. Agapé Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful example of
Greek Revival architecture with wide-board floors throughout
the home, wainscoting molding and romantic fireplaces.
During the 1860's and 1870's,
Captain Crocker was a trial justice and the original court room
is the larger bedroom in our courtroom suite. This room has been
restored to resemble that period in time, including the
stenciling that was carefully retraced and the historic colored
paints. (See the photos in Agapé Guest
Rooms).
After the Captain's death in 1883
the house became an inn known as the Courthouse Inn. Guests have been
graciously welcomed since that time. Visit our historic Cape
Cod house today! |
